Trebek and Gilbert should renew J! contract forever (until they die)

Alex Trebek should continue to host his version of Jeopardy! until he dies in the future. When Trebek dies in the future, he will be replaced by another host, with Johnny Gilbert returning as announcer (unless he dies in the future).

When Johnny Gilbert himself dies in the future, he will be replaced by Wheel of Fortune announcer Jim Thornton, and Jim Thornton himself will announce both Wheel and Jeopardy!, both produced by Sony Pictures Television and distributed by CBS Television Distribution (which also distributes Dr. Phil).

Jeopardy! should not have a rotation of guest announcers like Wheel did.

WTSP moves weekday J! reruns to 3:30 and LMAD to 10:00

Earlier this October, WTSP channel 10 moved weekday reruns of Jeopardy! to 3:30 in the afternoon, with Inside Edition moving to 3:00.

If you like Let's Make a Deal and used to watch it at 3:00 weekdays on channel 10, the station moved the show to 10:00 in the morning earlier this October, before The Price is Right starring Drew Carey, to allow the station to air both CBS daytime game shows in the morning.

Why GSN viewers record future airings of game show classics

Game show fans who have GSN and a recording device can record future GSN reruns of game show classics that air on the network. But to upload the full episodes to YouTube, a game show fan with GSN must cut off the closing segment of each show before the credit crunch (unless GSN leaves the credits fully uncrunched).

WOF/J! episodes should be uploaded to another website

I found out that only some episodes of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! had been taken down from YouTube due to copyright trouble by Sony Pictures Entertainment. David Downs' original YouTube channel and his backup channel both got hit with a copyright strike by Sony because David uploaded a full episode of Jeopardy! from 1985. Jared Oswald got hit with not one but two copyright strikes for uploading his own copies of full episodes of Wheel and Jeopardy! to YouTube itself. David told me in a comment on my own video about copyright trouble by Sony, which targeted Jeopardy! almost exclusively in that purge, which was similar to the one that happened in the summer of 2011.

A user called gameshowboy got a strike for a Jeopardy! episode he had uploaded, but he actually got hit with all three copyright strikes by Sony for uploading his own full Wheel and Jeopardy episodes.

If you have any Wheel and Jeopardy! episodes that were taken down due to copyright trouble by Sony, as well as any other Wheel and Jeopardy! episodes that don't circulate on the Internet, try another website such as Dailymotion. You'll be safe on a video hosting website where you can avoid getting copyright problems altogether. So if you've uploaded your own copies of Wheel and Jeopardy! episodes to YouTube in the past, I really want you to upload those episodes to Dailymotion, so you'll be safe on there. The only Wheel and Jeopardy! clips you should upload to YouTube are promos for the show and intros and credits from various episodes.

GSN drops Dog Eat Dog

Earlier this fall, GSN dropped NBC's Dog Eat Dog from its schedule and replaced it with other game shows. Dog Eat Dog first aired on NBC from June 17, 2002-August 26, 2003.

In 2004, GSN got the rights to air Dog Eat Dog and added the show to its schedule.

GSN is now airing other game shows such as its original programming in the timeslots previously occupied by Dog Eat Dog.
