GSN should make changes in the new year of 2015

GSN should make changes in 2015, with its schedule changes later on.

In 2015, there will be more new-to-GSN episodes of Card Sharks starring Bob Eubanks and the nighttime Sale of the Century starring Jim Perry and The (New) $25,000 Pyramid starring Dick Clark, plus more 1986 episodes of Press Your Luck.

Also in 2015, GSN should stop crunching the credits on all classic game shows. Credit crunching should continue only on GSN's originals except for Whammy: The All-New Press Your Luck and Chuck Woolery's version of Lingo. GSN should leave the credits of both shows uncrunched in additon to all the game show classics. Also, after a game show classic, Whammy, and Woolery Lingo, one or more promos should appear in full screen immediately following the credits of the show. GSN will also stop cutting off the credits before they finish because there should be another change, which is that there will be fewer commercials on all the game show classics aired by GSN. The network's originals should still have more commercials.

Those are all the changes GSN should make in 2015.

2014 HSN Holiday Event Special

HSN aired the 2014 HSN Holiday Event Special on December 24 and December 25, 2014. It aired from 3PM ET on Christmas Eve to 11PM ET on Christmas Day and consisted of four parts: Electronic Connection, Keith Urban Guitar Collection, Organize with Ease, and Chefs on HSN. The shows first aired from 3-7PM ET on Christmas Eve and aired continuously in reruns before HSN could return to live programming at 11PM ET on Christmas Day.

Laurie Feltheimer, Hot in Hollywood fashion designer, leaves HSN

I've got a bad news flash for the HSN family. On Tuesday, Laurie Feltheimer of Hot in Hollywood had left the network. She is the creator of Hot in Hollywood. It's a sad time for HSN's models who have modeled for Hot in Hollywood in the past. Feltheimer appeared on HSN at various times for the past 12 years, and now, she said goodbye to Hot in Hollywood. Feltheimer had written a letter to some of her Hot in Hollywood fans about her final HSN show.

What a bummer!

Lisa Robertson finally leaves QVC

QVC host Lisa Robertson left the network before this weekend. She had been with the network since 1995 and will be missed by QVC.

The Lisa Robertson Show is a good show she hosted on QVC.

Be happy to hear that she's left QVC after less than 20 years on the air.

Viacom's takedown of some Unsolved Mysteries episodes

A long time ago, many episodes of Unsolved Mysteries had been removed from YouTube due to copyright trouble by Viacom, which should only take down episodes from the Spike era of the show from now on, because Spike is owned by Viacom.

From now on, if you have any episodes of Unsolved Mysteries from the NBC, CBS, and Lifetime eras, you should only upload the episodes from those eras.

It was rare for Viacom to take down every Unsolved Mysteries episode, so from now on they should only take down episodes of the Spike era from YouTube, leaving only the NBC, CBS, and Lifetime eras intact on the site.

Chris Scanlon: Former HSN host's ex-husband dies

Former HSN host Chris Scanlon's ex-husband died at 4:20PM at some point last week, according to a Facebook post by Scanlon herself.

Jim Lange and Geoff Edwards die

Earlier this year, game show host Jim Lange died of a heart attack at the age of 81 on February 25, and another game show host, Geoff Edwards, died of pneumonia on March 5 at the age of 83.

Lange had been hosting Chuck Barris' Dating Game and more of his own shows, and Edwards had been hosting Barris' Treasure Hunt and more of his own shows.
