For HSN fans out there...
All good things must come to an end. After over three years, Anji Corley has left HSN, and that's exactly what happened today. She had been a host on the network since 2011 and will be missed. Anji had announced on her HSN Facebook page that she was leaving, and her fans had expressed dismay that she was leaving.
HSN would like to wish Anji good luck in her next chapter of her life, and she will be missed.

New Changes for the New Year!
Bright House Networks moved a few channels to newer locations early this year.
QVC was originally on channel 7, but is now on channel 21.
WTTA channel 38, originally on channel 15, is now on channel 6.
WVEA channel 62, a Univision station, originally on channel 21, is now on channel 15.
WRMD channel 49, a Telemundo station, originally on channel 97, is now on channel 19.
MundoFox has made its first appearance on digital channel 20.
When Bright House Was Time Warner Cable in Tampa Bay
When Bright House was Time Warner Cable in Tampa Bay, in 2002 they introduced new channels to their permanent lineup. The then-new channel lineup first appeared at my uncle Martin Stanbery's old house before becoming a channel lineup before 2003 (when Time Warner became Bright House by the spring of that year).

The Simpsons episodes I watched on the road!
I like watching The Simpsons in my mother's car, but the first episodes of the show that I watched in my mom's current car were The Parent Rap, Homer the Moe, A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love, and (starting earlier this week) Treehouse of Horror 12.
I will watch more Simpsons episodes on road trips with my Mom. I've had seasons 13, 14, and 16 on DVD so far (and hope to get seasons 1 through 12, seasons 14 and 15, and season 17 on DVD soon).

Stuart Scott, ESPN sportscaster, dies on Doris Burke's birthday
ESPN broadcaster Stuart Scott died of cancer earlier this week at 49 years old. He had been an ESPN anchor from 1993 until his death. He had also been one of SportsCenter's hosts. ESPN actually said goodbye to Stuart before his death. Interestingly, he died on his colleague Doris Burke's 50th birthday.
Be sad to hear that Stuart died of cancer earlier this week.
