Game Show Network should have a permanent oldies block with Sony-owned game shows
Presumably after Christmas 2022, Game Show Network should have a permanent oldies block with classic game shows owned by its parent company of Sony Pictures. The Sony-owned classic games were originally produced by Merv Griffin, Barry & Enright Productions, and Chuck Barris Productions.
Game Show Network is currently stunting with an oldies block of four of the same game shows that air on BUZZR, owned by Fremantle: Press Your Luck starring Peter Tomarken, Super Password, Card Sharks starring Jim Perry, and Family Feud starring Richard Dawson from the 70s and 80s.
Maybe after Christmas, Game Show Network should replace the four Fremantle classics with a full hour of classic nighttime Wheel of Fortune starring Pat Sajak and Vanna White at 1 and 1:30PM Eastern Time, and a full hour of Jeopardy starring Alex Trebek at 2 and 2:30PM. Game Show Network would be a happier channel if they air a two-hour block of old Wheel and Jeopardy episodes.

Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik become permanent hosts of Jeopardy's 1984 revival
Jeopardy has just found not one but two permanent hosts. Johnny Gilbert should return as the announcer. The two permanent hosts are 74-time champion Ken Jennings from the Trebek era in 2004 (on the regular syndicated series) and Mayim Bialik (on the ABC primetime specials), who stars in Call Me Kat for Fox. This post believes Bialik to fill in for Jennings on the syndicated version for at least two weeks later in the season.

Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune will be on Pluto TV August 1
Jeopardy and the syndicated version of Wheel of Fortune will be coming to Pluto TV on August 1. Here are my predictions for the new channels.
- Both the Jeopardy and Wheel channels should have episodes that have a full credit roll.
- The Jeopardy episodes are from Alex Trebek's era hosting the show, including 32 season premieres.
- The Wheel episodes are from the syndicated version, aired between seasons 34 and 37.
These two new Pluto TV channels can be launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of syndicated Wheel which premieres in September.

HSN to put The List back on the air with a new host
Next month, HSN is putting The List back on the air as The List with Debbie D because Debbie Denmon is expected to be the host of the "new" List when it returns to the network next month.
Also next month, HSN is renaming the Thursday morning fashion show once again to Obsessed With Style. Debbie hosted the show on a regular basis. Shannon Fox was that show's first host when it premiered.

HSN puts The List on hiatus and cancels Shopping With Colleen
HSN has put The List With Colleen Lopez on hiatus and cancelled Shopping With Colleen because Colleen Lopez is cutting back her HSN air time. Different shows would occupy The List's old time slot starting next week on HSN. In the meantime though, check out the episodes of The List that are still available on the HSN YouTube channels to relive The List With Colleen Lopez.
HSN plans to resume production of The List when Debbie Denmon becomes the permanent host, replacing Colleen Lopez. The show will be renamed The List With Debbie D to reflect the host change, because Colleen is now able to slow down at HSN.

Jay Wolpert dies of Alzheimer's Disease at 79
I was watching the opening to a pilot called Pie in the Sky starring Bob Goen with Rod Roddy as the announcer. I may have learned that Jay Wolpert had died of Alzheimer's Disease at 79 years old just three days after the new year. Fortunately, Wolpert died three days after Betty White. Wolpert created Hit Man and Blackout.
